One more picture that I forgot to include. This week our chapel speaker used balloons to illustrate humility and putting others first. He asked some students to come on stage for a balloon blowing contest.
We had Oliver and Hannah representing 2nd grade!
Even though 3rd grade won, we definitely cheered the loudest. :)

Upper Leacock Fire Company came to our school on Wednesday to talk about fire safety.
We also learned some new word study activities this week.
Whenever the class receives a compliment from another teacher for good behavior outside of our classroom, we put a bug in our bug jar. We filled the jar this week and the students chose to eat lunch outside as their reward. Here are some pictures of our lunch on this beautiful day!
We ended our week with our first field trip of the year. We learned so much from Judge Workman and we had fun buying snacks at Central Market.
