I cannot believe we are already more than half-way through the year. It has been such a joy to see the growth in my students and the progress they've made so far! Here are some pictures from the past few weeks:
Our class raised the most money for "Pennies for Patients," so we won a Chick-fil-A party!
We've played a lot of new math games to review concepts that we've learned.
We started learning about fractions and did a fun activity using marshmallows to practice modeling the parts that make up fractions.
We have been learning about invertebrates in science and we had the opportunity to do some activities with an octopus and earthworms.
Mrs. Williams started teaching Bible and Social Studies this week. She has been doing some awesome demonstrations and activities that have helped the students remember the truth that Jesus paid the price for our sins, took the punishment in our place, and restored our relationship with God!
One of the prizes that students can buy in our class store is a "Lunch in the Classroom" card. I've enjoyed having lunch with the students and getting to know them better!
We also celebrated Elena's half birthday!
Happy Birthday Elena!! We are so thankful for you and your contagious smile!!
Michaiyla also lost a tooth!! Love the new smile!!
I was also surprised with a WONDERFUL birthday party!! Thank you so much for the sweet treats and thoughtful gifts!!!!! We had so much fun!!
